I want to welcome you to my blog, to this page and Jesus Is Lord Church. Starting this year I will be posting a blog each week and sharing with you what the Lord is sharing with me. I pray you will be strengthen, encouraged and equipped to soar in this year with wings as eagles.
There are so many things taking place in the world, the prophetic word of God is being manifested in greater measure than I have seen in my lifetime. Know that God has so much in store for the Body of Christ and we have great confidence in knowing we are victorious!

Living Kingdom Life In A Pagan World

One of the greatest struggles faced by the believer is that of complicating what is very simple and making something very simple so complicated. We struggle with living the Christian life because we try to equate that life to our immediate surroundings, what we see, feel, hear, touch and taste.
To begin understanding the Kingdom of God, we must totally remove ourselves from this world, its way of thinking. The Kingdom of God is so far removed from what we are taught naturally – human education. God essentially must “re-educate” us to even begin understanding what His Kingdom is like and how to reign in that Kingdom victoriously. When I say remove us from this world, I am not saying we can’t see God in this world, the very nature of this world declares His glory! I am referring to mindsets – the mindset of this world and the mindset of God.
The difference with us being newborn babes in Christ and being newborn babes coming into this world is that the natural baby doesn’t have a mind filled with this world’s thought system. A natural baby’s mind can be taught, a newborn babe in Christ must first be untaught, then taught all over again. This is a process that requires patience, great grace, and a lot of humility. It takes great humility to realize that what you have been taught all your life as being truth, may in fact, not be true at all. We continually repent – “change our minds and belief systems” – as often as necessary until we come into the full knowledge of the truth. That doesn’t mean that everything we have ever been taught is a lie, what it means is that everything we have been taught must now be judged by the Word of God to see whether it is the spirit of truth or the spirit of error.
Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
(Bible in Basic English) “And let not your behavior be like that of this world, but be changed and made new in mind, so that by experience you may have knowledge of the good and pleasing and complete purpose of God.”
(Contemporary English Version) “Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.”

Living Kingdom Minded In A Pagan World

The following blogs are inserts from my upcoming book, hope you are encouraged by these post.

From the time of birth until the time of death, there is a natural progression of learning, growing, and experiencing what we learn as we grow. An educational process begins that is designed to teach us about our world, primarily that part of the world we call home. As a newborn citizen we are ignorant, unlearned, and unskilled in the ways of life in our newfound country, its people, and its ways – good or bad. We have no concept of government, education, work, religion, entertainment, crime, social interaction, or those things associated with day-to-day life on a planet called Earth. Some things in life are not learned until they are encountered.
This also is true of the born-again believer. We have been birthed into a new country (The Kingdom of God) and are no longer citizens of this world (The Kingdom of Darkness). By nature, or our natural birth into this world, we were children of darkness, children of disobedience but we have been translated (repositioned) into the Kingdom of God.
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” (Col 1:13)
Translated - 1) to transpose, transfer, remove from one place to another 7a) of change of situation or place
Everything I just spoke about in the natural can be equated to Kingdom life and those things that belong to the Kingdom of God. In this book, we want to take you from the cradle to the grave and beyond. We will show you life in the Kingdom of God in a simple way you can apply to everyday living. You will be truly able to say as Jesus did:
“……My kingdom is not of this world: …. but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36 Emphasis mine)
This is also a statement we will elaborate on, because of the misunderstanding people have about the Kingdom of God. Let me say this, God’s Kingdom is always present where God’s Spirit is, but that does not mean that His Kingdom is established there.

Living Kingdom Life

Refusing To Be Ashamed - Part 1

Jeremiah 3:3

Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

What happens when a person, or people, refuse to be ashamed? What happens when there is no standard of morality, no standard of discipline and no standard of normality?

For the Born Again Believer, the Word of God is a foundational base of uncompromising truth. The deepening darkness that invades the moral fiber of our society is exposed and judged in God’s will for humanity. The inability of man to control his OWN destiny is clearly seen in the civilizations that have arisen in the centuries before us. This brings to light a solemn warning, that a nation and a people who refuse to be ashamed of immorality and unfaithfulness to God, will meet with His judgment against that nation and people.

Israel more than once saw the hand of an angry God stir against them. Listen to the words of the prophet Jeremiah, “For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, PLAYING THE HARLOT.” [Jer. 2:20] Listen to the next verse, “Yet I had planted thee a NOBLE VINE, wholly a right seed; how then art thou turned into the DEGENERATE PLANT of a strange vine to me?”

Whoredom in the Bible is referring to idolatry and unfaithfulness to God. The word of the Lord spoken through the prophet Jeremiah brings to light many things that are now present in America. This nation was founded in biblical principles but now fondles and embraces strange gods. A nation that sings, “America, America, God shed His grace on thee,” now wallows in a cesspool of immorality and innocent blood. This is not one nation under God. A nation under God does not kill innocent, unborn babies. A nation under God does not condone homosexuality as a normal lifestyle. A nation under God does not take prayer out of school. A nation under God does not promote pornography. A nation under God does not glamorize alcohol, drug abuse and gangs as a good time. A nation under God does not embrace music that advances violence, hatred, occult influences, sex, immorality, prejudice and every manner of evil. This is a nation that REFUSES TO BE ASHAMED. This is a nation that will let politicians and preachers lie in a bed of whoredom and still hold office. This is a nation, that as a whole, has gone whoring after other gods! Just because men write a NEW Bible and put HOLY on the front of the cover does not mean it will get God’s endorsement. America is in an age of STRONG delusion and deception. With vast technological advancement and the means to reach the world with a superhighway of KNOWLEDGE, the mind set of the world is being molded by the mind of men and not of God. Children are being seduced by the wiles of the Wicked One while their parents are chasing the winds of opportunity this nation holds before them. More and more, children are being raised by government controled schooling and Day Care Centers, rather than by godly men and women who want to raise up a child in the way he or she SHOULD go! Listen to me, there IS HOPE! All throughout history when nations have turned from God, He has sent prophets among them with a clear warning of imminent judgment, unless they turned from their wickedness to serve Him once more. Let America be put on notice - YOU ARE BEING WARNED AGAIN! Jesus Christ is the answer to America’s dilemma. How He has been presented from one generation to the next in this nation has much to do with the way He is received and perceived today. The Bible perceives Jesus as the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE and that NO MAN can come to the FATHER execept by JESUS! [John 14:6] Through the spirit of Anti-Christ that has been and is right now working in the world, this message of the WAY, TRUTH and LIFE has been distorted, watered-down, added too, taken away from, dismissed and misdeliverd so much that the NARROW way has become BROAD, the TRUTH has become a LIE and the LIFE has become DEATH.

No Morality In The Nation

What happens when there is no MORALITY in a nation? Immorality breeds. The Bible has stood in this nation as a standard of morality since her conception. The word of God is an instruction manual for morality, removed, there is no longer GOD’S standard but the standard which MEN approve of. What is that standard? “IF IT FEELS GOOD, DO IT.”

“How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ house.” [Jer. 5:7]

If the prophet Jeremiah were to address this nation today, he would more than likely say these words: “America, you have a whore’s forehead, you refuse to be ashamed!” The very things that once made this nation blush with disdain and disgust are now flaunted and paraded down mainstreet U.S.A. They are applauded and embraced by a government and even by churches who have turned from God. Prayer was taken out of our public schools. Secular Humanism and New Age philosophies were introduced. When God was put out, hell was let in and less than 30 years our schools have become a battle ground of drugs, rape, robbery, gangs, suicide, vandalism, extortion, teenage pregnance, abortions, alcohol abuse and assualt. What a difference from the top offence in the 1940’s of “running in the hall.” People say it is the CHANGING TIMES, I say it is CHANGING GODS! We have a nation that is intoxicated with lust. God said, “Thou shalt not kill.” America gave it a new name and now aborts one and half million unborn babies a year! We don’t call it drunkenness, we call it a social disease. God said, “Thou shalt not lie with MANKIND as with WOMANKIND; it is an ABOMINATION,” [Lev. 18:22] We call it homosexuality, an alternate lifestyle. God calls it SODOMY! It is an ABOMINATION and a STENCH to His nostrils. Yet many churches in America have not only embraced, will marry and accept this lifestyle as normal but they will ordain those who live this perverse lifestyle to stand in a pulpit. WARNING!!!!! Judgment has begun in the HOUSE OF GOD!!!! The Bible clearly shows the character of SODOMITES in Romans 1:18-32. They KNOW there is a God but do not give unto Him the honor and glory that belongs to Him, nor are they thankful. Their thoughts have become vain and are filled with DARKNESS. They say they are WISE but they are FOOLS. God has given them over to the FILTY things their hearts desire, and they do shameful things with each other. They exchange the TRUTH [redefining the truth] of God for a lie and ser the creation rather than the Creator, who is worthy to be praised. God has given them over to shameful passions - the WOMEN pervert the natural use of the sex by unnatural acts. The men gave up natural sexual relations with WOMEN and burn with passion for ONE ANOTHER. The latter part of the 27th verse says - “Men do shameful things with each other, and AS A RESULT they bring upon THEMSELVES the PUNISHMENT they DESERVE for WRONGDOING.” Now that does not sound like the GOD OF LOVE the modern liberal theologians preach today, but that IS the God the Bible talks about. It is a fact that AIDS began in the Homosexual community but this nation plays it off on the INNOCENT victims who contacted this disease through OTHER means. ALL OF AMERICA IS REAPING THE HARVEST OF SODOMY! Why? Because she refuses to be ashamed. It is IMMORALITY but we call it NEW MORALITY. If you do not think God is against SODOMY you had better check His redistricting plan for Sodom and Gomorrah.

The Bible says that RIGHTEOUSNESS exalts a nation but SIN is a reproach to any people. Listen to me. We can play it off for a pay check, and be popular with the BROADWAY crowd, but God isn’t laughing and He isn’t going to change His standard of holiness and obedience to the cross one bit. God can deliver the homosexual and lesbian. He can deliver the drug addict, the alcoholic, the pimp and prostitute but more than that, He can deliver you sir, you mam, from a RELIGIOUS dump that has told you everything is alright, when you know in your heart you are living in sin and do not KNOW the LAMB OF GOD.

I do not set forth these messages to assault anyone or in malice, but because I love you and do not want you to miss eternity with Jesus. I preach the way I do because in my spirit I sense a shortening of days in America concerning the grace of God. I sense the JUDGMENT OF GOD in His House. Many preachers do not understand why their church is folding, it had EVERYTHING! There was NO JESUS, NO ANOINTING. If the Holy Ghost ain’t in the House, God won’t be there either. Only where the Spirit of the Living God is welcomed and given LIBERTY will there come refreshing from the Lord. God is tired of our formulated, time honored services for those who do not want to be in church to start with. That is about to change and if it means you have to be moved out of the way - BYE! You will not have enough entertainment in your house to get people there when times of tribulation come upon this nation. I hear a trumpet blowing.

A Snake Bitten Church

2 Cor 11:3-4
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
(KJV)

The world is full of snakes, some are poisonous, others not. These snakes apprehend their prey in different manners but with the same results - DEATH. Thank God all snakes don’t look the same. Can you imagine getting bit, not knowing whether the snake was poisonous or not? Over the years, through much research and sometimes through actual experience, the snake world has been catalogued to identify every snake known to man.

There is, however, ONE snake that man has yet to catalogue properly. This snake has many names, many forms, many methods of apprehending his prey, but always with the same results - DEATH. It is this snake that I want to present to you in light of the Word of God. I not only want to SHOW him to you, but I want you to see what happens when this serpent bites the BODY.

Rev 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (KJV)

Rev 20:2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, (KJV)

To begin understanding this serpent, we have to go to his origin. From Revelation 12:9, we see that this serpent has several other names attached to him - dragon, Devil, Satan. This same verse says that this serpent is a deceiver. In addition, this serpent has a following - his angels were cast out with him. We know that angels are heavenly beings created by God, so for this serpent to have angels that followed him, he must have been in a place of position and power in heaven.

Isa 14:12-17
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? (KJV)

Ezek 28:12-19
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more. (KJV)

WHERE has this serpent been? IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN!

Gen 3:1-4
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:   (KJV)

This serpent has been in heaven with God, as an Anointed Cherub. Because iniquity was found in Lucifer, he was dispelled from the regal of heaven’s glory and the presence of God’s holiness. In the creation of humankind, God gave Adam the position of being in authority of planet Earth and all its splendor. The only way for the serpent to gain access to the seat of authority was for the man to give it to him. Genesis shows the bite of this serpent and the result of his bite - DEATH.   “.....the woman saw that the tree was good for food.” Her BODY was affected. “...pleasant to the eyes...” Her SIGHT was affected. “...a tree to be desired to make one wise..” Her REASONING was affected.

I Jn 2:16-17
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (KJV)

From the conception of the church to this very present day, the serpent has always been near the hedge of God’s protection. He is waiting, watching for men and women to step out of that hedge so that he can sink his poisonous fangs into their soul.

Eccl 10:8
He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. (KJV)

Many in the church today have broken the hedge that is around them through disobedience. Pride has entered into their heart and they refuse to humble themselves, repent, and turn from their wicked ways. [See 2 Chronicles 7:14]   Many churches in America today are dying from the poison of the serpent and this condition is largely in part to the fact that they don’t even know they have been bitten. They know something is wrong with them, they are sick, defeated, beaten and worn. They know they do not have the joy, peace, love, faith, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance, power, praise, prayer, and patience that the Bible speaks of and yet NO ONE will stand up and point to the serpent. We are afraid it might offend Sister Do Good if we tell her she has a devil! If the deacon is living like a devil, then he may have one!? There ARE brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ who have been bitten by the serpent who are not in secret sin, but they have not been taught how to deal with the serpent either.

Adam and Eve believed a LIE, were bitten, and died spiritually. Many churches today have believed a LIE, have been bitten and are dead spiritually. There is NO anointing at all in their Churches. Until men and women are willing to accept the TRUTH, the whole TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH, they will continue to be bitten by the serpent.

Most in the church today feel they are better than most and not as bad as some, this is the venom of the serpent. When men speak evil of the man of God, they have been snake bitten. When Christians gossip and backbite, they have been BITTEN! When men and women condone homosexuals and lesbians to preach, they have been BITTEN! When men had rather believe a LIE than the TRUTH, it is evident, they have been BITTEN by the serpent.

In closing, there is only ONE antidote for the poison of the serpent. It is the BLOOD OF JESUS. Only that precious blood can wash away the sickness, disease, despair, depression, degradation, defeat and death of the serpents bite. Friend, Jesus died on a cross for you and I that we would not have to die in our sins, but that we might live with Him for eternity. If you are lost, apart from God, do not know him as your Father, or Jesus as Lord and Saviour, you are dying, you have been bitten by the SERPENT. If you are a Christian and are backslidden, living in rebellion, out of relationship with your God, you have been bitten. Brother, Sister, you need to ask God for the antidote serum so you can LIVE! Don’t DIE when you can LIVE. Don’t go to HELL when you can go to HEAVEN. Jesus is waiting, He is standing at your hearts door with the serum for a sin sick soul, let Him come in, please. God wants you to LIVE. The SERPENT wants you to DIE.

CHOOSE LIFE!

Pulling Down Strongholds

2Co 10:3-6 TPT (3-4) For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. (5) We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. (6) Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.

In this intense time of spiritual warfare that is upon the Body of Christ, know that the Lord is on your side and you will overcome. Understand your weapons and understand your position in Christ. We are seeing the victory already!

What Is A Stronghold?

A Stronghold is an area of the mind where darkness reigns.
It is a system of logic, rooted in a lie, that an individual has come to accept.
This system of thought is formed behind any habitual response, addiction, fixation, compulsion, obsession, and/or inordinate fear.

As such, a stronghold is any thought pattern alien to the Word of God.
It serves as a mental or emotional “command post” to which the enemy has access.
This mental or emotional word or thought system is designed to create misinformation and thereby affect an individual’s decision making ability. Consequently, a stronghold keeps a person from embracing true Christ likeness.

We will address this more in detail in coming post. This is just something for you to think on for now.

When God Sighs

1Sa 15:11 "It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night."

To me this is one of the saddest things a man of God would have to hear from God, "What I have told you to anoint has grieved my heart so much that I am not only going to take away his kingdom and give it to another but I am going to remove my anointing off his life."

Saul's disobedience had cause God to sigh in such a way that He could no longer tolerate allowing him to lead His people. A leader who fears the people and who listens to the people rather than the voice of God will always fall into compromise and that will lead to disobedience, no matter how you fix it up.

That word "repenteth" mean to "sigh." It is like you take a real deep breath and just release it, as someone who is in deep sorrow would do. Samuel "cried" unto the Lord all night. That isn't the cry of give Saul another chance. That word "cried" means to "shriek" (from anguish or danger). Samuel's cry was because God's heart had been broken. God already knew the outcome of setting Saul over His people but He wanted to show Israel their "own" heart.

Friend, let us not be half-hearted in our devotion to God or shallow in our obedience but lets burn with the passion of God for His will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Consumed or Content?

Do you want to be consumed by the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ or do you just want a weekend date to church that allows you to stay connected, maybe as a friend but no fire? Jesus must become what we are consumed with, not what we are content with.
I have learned that many are saved but not satisfied, the same as their "natural" marriage and relationship with others, connected but not content. I want to encourage everyone that reads this to become so radically consume with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ that you will never be satisfied without Him.
