A Message From Our Founder and Director - Apostle William Wallace
Who Is Eligible? When applying for a job, an individual typically submits a resume, completes an application, and then proceeds to an interview. Some companies have a vetting process that may involve 3 to 5 interviews to assess if the candidate is the right fit for the company.
At JIL Men's Center, our vetting process is similar, but we incorporate specific dynamics to determine the suitability of candidates for our program. Factors we consider include but are not limited to: - Recommendations from Chaplains, Case Managers, Superintendents, Parole Board, etc. - The inmate's history while incarcerated, including write-ups, altercations, program participation, and character. - Personal interviews that we conduct. Our decision to accept or reject an applicant is not based on the crime committed, but on who we believe is most suitable for our program and who genuinely desires a better life beyond what prison can offer. |
Our ProgramJIL Men's Center is a one-year inmate re-entry program operated by Jesus Is Lord International Christian Ministries. The sole purpose of this program is to assist men who are being released on parole, or who have completed their sentence, with the necessary support, housing, job placement, clothing, food, transportation and more to ensure their parole requirements are met and their transition back into society is a smooth one. This program is designed to bring men from Prison to Purpose
